National Mall (Hasselblad 500 C/M & Fuji Acros 100)

National Mall Monuments at night

This winter, for a couple of nights, I took my bike, my Hasselblad 500 C/M and some Fujifilm Acros 100 for a ride around the National Mall in Washington D.C.

My goal was simply to try some night photography with the monuments and the help of a great camera and film.

After some mistakes with the first two shots, I managed to figure out the technicalities of shooting analog long exposures at night. The following 22 images are the result of the first night edition of analog city walks:

US Capitol front view: f/8 and 2 seconds
US Capitol side view: f/8 and 2 seconds
US Capitol from green: f/8 and 10 seconds
